  Rosanna Rowsell was born May 5 1877 Little Bay islds, died Nov 8 1931 LBI. She married Jan 1 1910 to George MITCHELL, 19 yrs her senior. She was the dau of William Rowsell & Rosanna Roberts (his 2nd marriage). She did have a brother Mark Rowsell born 1871 who married Louisa Jane Rowsell. So likely a link there somewhere. The Mark 1837-1913 who married Mary Jane Penny was the son of William Rowsell and Martha Bowers per my notes, but has no baptism. Source: J. William married Martha Bowers of Nippers Harbour, Green Bay. The Initial "R" comes from Reginald Rowsell, who referred to his great-grandafther in a notebook as Wm. R. Rowsell. I wonder if the R. stands for Reginald. William made a valentine for his wife, Martha. It used to be hung at the old folks home in Leading Tickles, when the home was run by Harry Hollett, husband of Frances Rowsell, g-granddaughter of William. This valentine had a verse inscribed on it by William, much of which is illegible. The whereabouts of the valentine now are unknown.
