Notes - The marrige record of their Jane Susannah Ferrier shows her parents' names as John and Margaret. It is my only source for that name. Seems reliable, but have found more reliable sources that show her name was probably Susannah Lawson. These are supported by a person durendal on Ancestry.com. (Name Natalie)
