In re Mary Taylor deceased.
In the name of God, Amen. I Mary Taylor of Carbonear, widow, relict of the late Joseph Taylor of Carbonear Planter being of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding, but being mindful of my mortality do this the twenty third day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty eight make and publish this my last will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say.
First I give, devise, and bequeath all my right title and interest of into and out of all the one third of the property of and belonging to my late husband Joseph Taylor and now in my possession, as follows:
one third part of the said one third of the property to my son Joseph P. Taylor and to his heirs for ever.
One third part of the said one third of the property to my son Frederick R. Taylor, and to his heirs for ever
One third part of the said one third of the property to my son Benoni Taylor and to his heirs for ever
and in consequence of my devising bequeathing and giving all my right title, and interest of into and out of all the one third of the said property to my said sons, I do hereby intend design, and decree that my daughter Julia A. Taylor shall be maintained and supported or and during her natural life by my said sons Joseph P. Taylor, Frederick R. Taylor, and Benoni Taylor.
And I do hereby make ordain, constitute and appoint Edward S. Pike of Carbonear, Sail maker, executor to this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former and other wills and testaments by me at any time heretofore made.
In witness whereof I have to this my last will and testament set and subscribed my hand and seal the day and year first above written. - Mary her X mark Taylor - (LS)
