  • Notes
    • Was born in a house directly across the street from 86 Caribou Road which he shared with his parents, Arthur and Blanche, until their deaths. He continues to live at #86 with his wife Mary.

He does not remember the number of the house where he was born. Only that they had two horses, Dan and Jack, which belonged to his brother Baxter and to their uncle G.F. Anstey. Dan and Jack lived in the basement store room. When the family moved across the street to #86, Ben was still very young - probably around age 4 - and his job was to carry over the family pisspot.

      Naval Reserve Number: 15047.
