The Late Wm. McLean
William McLean, for many years a resident of this place, died at Dunbar recently, aged 78 years, 4 months and 15 days.
Three years ago the deceased went to reside with his daughter, Mrs. Samuel Dickey, of Dunbar. He was born in Scotland and came to this country when 18 years old and settled in this vicinity. He is survived by nine children, viz: Christopher and Thomas, of Chesterville; Mrs. Samuel Dickey, of Dunbar; Rev. D.C. of Pier, S. Dak., Frank and William and Mrs. John Eberhardt, of Buffalo, N.Y.; Mrs. A. McMillan, of Detroit, and Mrs. A. Laden, of Black Hills. Mrs. Eberhardt and Frank McLean attended the funeral services, which were conducted in the Presbyterian Church Dunbar, by Rev. Mr. Carmichael.
