      It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Rowsell announce his passing on Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at the Health Science Centre, St. John's at the age of 74 years. Leaving to mourn with very fond and loving memories; his wife Joyce (nee Simms), Corner Brook, three sons: Victor (Rose), Corner Brook, William (Elizabeth), Kitchener, ON, Brian (Patricia), Kitchener, ON, two daughters: Linda Brown, Corner Brook and Judy Parsons (Roy), North York, ON; ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, brothers: Fred (Iris deceased), Allister (Marjorie), Thomas (Laura), Cecil (Sylvia), and Ross (Deborah), sisters: Helena Anderson, Rose Wheeler (Lorne), Edna Ivory (Larry) and Mary Perkins, as well as a very large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his great grandson Devon Collishaw, and his parents Thomas Rowsell, Little Bay Islands, and Helena (nee Locke), Little Bay Islands. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Saturday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 7 at 2:30 p.m. from the Salvation Army Temple, O'Connell Drive. Majors Gary and Sharon Cooper officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Patricia Receiving Chapel. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation, The Intensive Care Unit.
