"Searching for connections to my grandfather Samuel Whitehorn, a fisherman b. 1854 d. Feb. 25, 1899 in New Bay, Newfoundland. He was married (Methodist) on Nov. 22, 1880 to Emily Phoebe Rowsell, b. Aug 17, 1853 in Cottrell's Cove, Newfoundland, d. Apr. 15, 1936 in New Bay, Newfoundland. I have info on several other Whitehorns from the Twillingate, Newfoundland area, but haven't been able to connect them with Samuel or with each other: James Whitehorn married Marie ?? (b. About 1817-d. Apr. 1877 in Twillingate). Another James Whitehorn married Lucy White in Twillingate on Dec. 11, 1861. George Whitehorn born in Ringwood, Hampshire, England, died in Ragged Point, Newfoundland, married Bridget ??; at least some of their children were born in Twillingate circa 1840s-1860. Elizabeth Whitehorn married John Brett (died Before 1898); their children were born in Twillingate (Wild Cove and Paradise) circa 1860s-1880s. Rebecca Whitehorn was married in Twillingate on Nov. 3, 1855 to Arthur Alfred Yates (b. About 1834- d. Jun. 27, 1896). I have info on descendants of all of these individuals if anyone's interested."
