• Notes

  John Burge Wells of Three Arms, kept a notebook in which he stated that the Wells' and Strongs came from Ringwood, Hampshire, England in 1793. The 1921 Census for Three Arms says John was born May 1867 and Jane was born in August 1875. Their headstone is on Three Arms island.
