From a letter written by Minnie Barbour to her nephew, Reginald, in Feb 20, 1941:
"I suppose you know that Tom is married. He was married 5th October, to a Canadian. I had a letter from his wife today. They are at Farnham PQ."
We visited them as a family sometime in the 1960's and I was gobsmacked that he was a minister and smoked and drank alcohol. I asked my father about this and he said that some ministers chose to do that. End of story.
