  According to Cecil Parsons, Selina was married twice. Her first husband's name is unknown. Her second marriage was to Alfred Parsons. Following Alfred's death, Selina was left with a young family. Her son, Alfred, was born after his father drowned. Selina spent one year "in-service" at Tilt Cove. Upon returning to Rowsell's Island, her siblings, Susie and Henry, who never married, raised Arch of five years and George of three years. Selina moved with Tom and Alfred to Friday's Bay near Twillingate where she remarried.
