• Notes

  Am attaching him to the oldest Thomas Rowsell in Leading Tickles at the time of Thomas and Mary's marriage in 1856. At that time he was listed as Thomas Jr. with Thomas Sr. witnessing the marriage. In 1860, Thomas was a fisherman living in Leading Tickles, Nf. The January 1, 1887 issue of the Twillingate Sun states A Thomas Rowsell of Leading Tickles was appointed to the Church of England Board of Education at Exploits. The October 18, 1884 Twillingate Sun states Thomas Rowsell was appointed to be a Board of Road Commision for Leading Tickles.
