  Generally lived as a loner. According to Isabel Elliott, he owned property in Mexico and it was rumoured also had a woman there. However, some problems arose and he was unable to get into the U.S. to get to Mexico so was forced to stay in Canada. He lived in a house with his sisters Mary Margaret, Mary Ann and Jessie until their deaths and then alone until he died when fire consumed the home. Alternate name was Archibald F.
