Notes - I originally had Elvina's last name as Wilkins since this is what was in the marriage record, among other things).
However, Flo Maguire says that Elvinia's last name was Wilton, not Wilkins. See her sources below:
In my papers I have Elvina Wilton as the tenth child of Solomon Wilton and Rachel Parsons. This is from three sources."From Whence We Came Ancestrally and Religiously" by Amy Nicolle. This is a small book as to how the Anglican Church began in the communities of Bonne Bay.This book list the families of Bonne Bay.Woody Point was part of Bonne Bay. My second reference is from the book of Roy Osmond "Families of the South Arm of Bonne Bay 1800's-1930's". My third source is Alexander W. Payne. He lives in Nova Scotia but his family originates from Bonne Bay.He originally sent me the info I have been using for Solomon and Rachel Wilton. I am a Wilton,my father was Joseph Roy Wilton. His parents were John Thomas Wilton and Elizabeth Bobbitt.John Thomas was the son of Solomon Wilton and Rachel Parsons. Alexander Payne is careful researcher from this area and the coordinator of Northern Penisula site. I think you will find his work on the Chebucto and the old site that Sue is now heading.
