151	According to a book written by Lloyd Rowsell, "Life and Legacy of Kenneth Rowsell 1912-2001", Kenneth had children: Frances (Harry) Hallett, Theresa (Richard) Rowsell, and Sam (Margaret) Rowsell, as well as 18 grand children, 31 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. 152	According to Cecil Parsons, Selina was married twice. Her first husband's name is unknown. Her second marriage was to Alfred Parsons. Following Alfred's death, Selina was left with a young family. Her son, Alfred, was born after his father drowned. Selina spent one year "in-service" at Tilt Cove. Upon returning to Rowsell's Island, her siblings, Susie and Henry, who never married, raised Arch of five years and George of three years. George Wallace Craig (b. 9 Oct 1867 in ON, d. 2 Nov 1904 at Victoria, buried in Ross Bay Cemetery - Block P Plot 116 E N) and Mary Craig (b. 14 Jul 1872/3 in ON, d. 3 Nov 1950 at Vancouver) were married on June 5th 1895 at Victoria. Mary Craig was Mary Ann Brewster, the daughter of Charles Alexander Brewster (b. Ireland) and Sarah Brown (b. Scotland). Mary A. Brewster was one of the witnesses to the marriage of Frederick William Strong and Elizabeth Ann Brewster on December 4th 1890. possible death date 4 Dec 1890 not plausable based on birthdates of children. 156	According to the General Protestant Burial Records, St John's, NL J C TAYLOR died Mar 9,1916 and was buried in section 11 no 244 which was next to Susannah TAYLOR who died Feb 12,1916, supposely husband & wife. On Sep 13,1917 Mrs J C TAYLOR selected a plot section 13 no 27 and on Sep 26,1917 J C TAYLOR was removed form section 11 no 244 and moved to section 13. When the light house folk came on shore at Tilt Cove, business was done by Peter Winsor, Wm. Winsor and Abel Adams who was the father of Mrs. Arthur Albert Alcock of Corner Brook in my day. An A. Lloyd Rowsell: A piece in the Twillingate Sun of Aug 24th, 1889: (To the Editor Twillingate Sun) Dear Sir, -- The men out here picked up a fishing skiff this summer, and I wish you to publish it in the paper, that the owner may come for it. She is a new skiff built the past winter, and is black with a white streak around her; between 19 and 20 feet long, by 5 feet wide, fitted out for three persons fishing in her. There are three oars in her. Probably it is one that broke loose from the stern of a craft while in tow, as the tow rope was partly on her. She was bottom up when found about three miles from the Island. She will be taken care of until the owner calls for her, only the persons who picked her up want 4 dollars, for their trouble. BW: Mark discoved the bodies from the wreck of the "Swansea" on Cape John, Gull Island of Tilt Cove in 1867 where he later became the lighthouse keeper. He received a letter of commendation from Queen Victoria, who invited him to visit her in London, England. From the diary of Rev. R. Smith, a Methodist minister in the area between 1906-1907. 1906..Oct. 5th..."arrived at Rowsell's Island where I was met by Mrs. Isreal Rowsell. They were very kind people....I was taken over to the house of senior Mr. Rowsell and shown my room. Mr.Rowsell, a retired lighthouse keeper and his son Arthur and daughter were away from home and I was alone in the house." 1907..Jan. 18th..."after breakfast Mr. Rowsell came in and....he wanted to talk." 1907...Jan. 23rd.."we had our service in the home of Mr. Mark Rowsell." 1907....March 3rd.
